» Reading Series & Tours

Each year the SWG partners with various co-hosts to present authors from across Saskatchewan and Canada. The authors visit various communities to give readings at libraries, universities, community centres, and other locations.

These visits are made possible by generous funding from the Canada Council.

Current and recent co-hosts include:

  • Albert Library (Regina)
  • Campion College at the University of Regina
  • First Nations University of Canada
  • Luther College at the University of Regina
  • MacKenzie Art Gallery, the Saskatoon Public Library
  • St. Peter's College (Muenster)
  • Weyburn Public Library
  • University of Regina Theatre Department
  • University of Saskatchewan English Department

If your organization is interested in working with the Guild to bring in an author from outside Saskatchewan, please get in touch with us! Please note that due to various deadlines for funding applications, all arrangements with the co-host and the author must be in place by February 1 for readings that will take place from September to December of that year and by June 1 for readings that will take place between January to June of the following year.
