Starting from Scratch: Building a Suite of Poems
Over four sessions for beginning and emerging writers, participants will start with a blank page and end with a suite of poems. Prompts, examples, conversation and feedback from participants and from Gerald Hill will be part of the process in this fun and playful workshop series.
Gerald Hill will publish his 7th poetry collection this fall. Crooked at the Far End, coming from Radiant Press. In 2016 he was Poet Laureate of Saskatchewan. In all the years before and since he’s a writer who likes to see what a page might do. What he loves most of all is the look and sound of writers' writing—that fft-fft-fft of the hand on the journal page. On-line, we’ll imagine it.
