Bated Breath: A Suspense and Thriller Fiction Workshop

During this workshop, you’ll fill your writing toolbox with tactics to scare your readers breathless. Join suspense author Jason McIntyre for an afternoon of hands-on exercises and real examples as we put our literary fingers on the pulse of what makes a scene its most suspenseful. Together, we’ll tackle the nuts and bolts behind what scares us on the page and how to make your scenes reach out to grab readers by their throats.

This workshop is suitable for beginning and emerging writers. Knowledge of the basic mechanics of storytelling will be an asset.
