Did you ever wish you could have lunch with an author? The SWG has just the program for you! Join us at the SWG office on the first Tuesday of every month for these lunchtime craft talks.

These half-hour sessions begin at 12:15 p.m. You can attend in person or from the comfort of your home, office, or favourite Wi-Fi spot (as long as you have access to high speed Internet and a Facebook account).

If attending in person, bring a bagged lunch and listen to a Saskatchewan author talk about the craft of writing. We’ll provide coffee, tea, and water. Write After Lunch is a free public event open to everyone and there is no need to register.

Past Write After Lunch talks can be viewed on our Facebook Page.

When: Tuesday, April 2, 2019, 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
Where: The Ken Mitchell Library, SWG Offices, 100-1150 8th Ave (Wheelchair accessible)

The Incredible and Unconventional Adventures of Del Suelo (And your very own Hero’s Journey.)
with Erik Mehlsen

Erik Mehlsen, aka Del Suelo, is a musician, author, speaker, teacher, and music producer. His primary artistic outlet is a project called “Del Suelo”, which combines music and literature. In September of 2018, Erik released a novel+album called The Musician’s Compass: A 12 Step Programme, which talks about the extreme highs and lows of the life of a touring musician. Over the past four years, Del Suelo has toured across Canada, the US, Germany and the UK extensively as a solo act and as a trio. Erik also collaborates with other musical acts as a songwriter and sideman. He is also passionate about building musical community and teaches a guitar-theory Jam once a month in Regina.
