Bio

  • I am a retired elementary school teacher. I have also been a university lecturer, translator, and adult trainer. As a volunteer, I have been involved in Girl Guides of Canada, my church, and my children’s schools.

I moved to Saskatoon in 1994. Previously I lived in Riverview, NB for over 45 years.

My dog Murphy and I are the first St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Team to visit an emergency department in all of Canada. My book Murphy Mondays describes our experiences in the Royal University Hospital Emergency Department as relates to the child and adult patients and the doctors and staff. There is a lesson in the book about how to wash your hands and discussion questions to enrich the book’s reading.
