Ebriefs is the Guild's weekly e-mail bulletin available to any member who has e-mail access. In addition to being a useful information resource about events and markets, Ebriefs helps to build a sense of community by including announcements, calls of interest and questions contributed by subscribers. Freelance, the SWG's member bi-monthly newsletter, is provided free to all Guild members in good standing, either as electronic or hard copy. Freelance provides Guild membership with a wealth of information on SWG programs, writing markets and resources, monthly literary events around the province, members' new books, literary news and issues, reports, and much more. Grain Magazine, a literary quarterly, publishes engaging, eclectic, and challenging writing and art by Canadian and international writers and artists. Throughout the years, Grain has earned national and international recognition for its distinctive content. Spring is a bi-annual SWG publication of new work from emerging Saskatchewan writers. The purpose of Spring is to showcase and encourage the work of new writers who have not yet published in book-length form and who have not yet entered into a contract with a book publisher. Spring is provided free to all members of the Saskatchewan Writers' Guild and available for purchase for $10.
Windscript is the annual magazine of high school writing published by the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild since 1983. The Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild is proud to support the fresh, original work of student writers. We thank, in advance, the teachers and librarians who encourage their students to submit their creations for the upcoming issue.
