Is your writing making late night phone calls trying to get out of your head?
The SWG is holding a Facilitated Retreat, November 8-11, 2018, at St. Peter’s Abbey in Muenster, Saskatchewan. At the SWG Facilitated Retreat, as well as undisturbed writing time, a Writer-In-Residence will give an introductory talk on an aspect of writing, provide one hour of one-on-one discussion for feedback on your writing and/or answers to your writing-related questions, and join in with informal discussion at mealtimes with the other participants. The facilitated retreat is designed as a time for you to focus on the writing you would like to do and to gain encouragement and motivation by interacting with the Writer-In-Residence and your fellow participants.

The cost is $255 per person and includes a private room and all meals, as well as access to the Writer-In-Residence as described above.
To apply, applicants 19 years and older should submit an example of their work (must be a piece they will be working on at the retreat), a paragraph or two describing their writing experience, a paragraph about why they want to attend the SWG Facilitated Retreat, along with a cheque for the registration fee, and a completed application form. Please see our full application guidelines before submitting.
Payment may also be made via PayPal. Application deadline is 4:30pm on October 24, 2018.
