Introductory Creative Writing Workshop with Alison Lohans

Cost: FREE for Members, 25$ for non-members. Please register in advance for this workshop as space is limited.

Alison Lohans will help get your creative juices flowing with her introductory creative writing workshop. This bare bones workshop will be sure to reignite your writing fire with fresh ideas and new perspectives. The workshop will include the "who", "what", "why", "how" and "where"? of setting a story in motion. So sign up today for the Bare Necessities workshop, and get your “recipe” to write. For those wanting to know the basics of getting started in writing fiction.

Award-winning Regina writer Alison Lohans has been writing fiction her entire life. To date she's published 26 books for young people, as well as countless works of short fiction, nonfiction, and poems for people other than children. She has given over a thousand readings in schools and libraries across Canada, has taught many workshops and classes in creative writing, as well as serving as Writer-in-Residence at Regina Public Library.
