Volunteer for the First Nations University Powwow!

The Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild is seeking authors and members to volunteer to work our booth at the First Nations University of Canada Powwow being held on April 21-22, 2018 at the Brandt Centre (1700 Elphonstone St.) in Regina. The Powwow is a celebration of spring, the season of renewal, as well as a sharing of First Nations culture that adds to the diversity and cultural mosaic of Saskatchewan. It is one of the longest running celebrations in the province and has grown to be one of the largest as well.

Volunteers are encouraged to sell their books, do book signings, and promote the SWG while at the event. A weekend wristband will be provided on behalf of the SWG.

We will be filling the following time slots:

Saturday, April 21st

12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Sunday, April 22nd

12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
