"Women in the Park"
Born and raised in Québec, Martine Noël-Maw has made Saskatchewan her home since 1993. A French literature graduate from Université de Montréal, she worked in communications and human resources before acting on her passion and plunging headfirst into writing for youth and adults. She is the recipient of two Saskatchewan Book Awards (Amélia et les papillons (2006) and Dans le pli des collines (2010)
Barbara Tomporowski is a Senior Policy Analyst for Saskatchewan Justice and teaches classes at the University of Regina. For sixteen years she has been writing professional documents such as submissions to commissions, national and provincial strategies, reports and manuals. Barbara is currently working on her first fiction novel, a rural fantasy for adults set in contemporary Saskatchewan. When she is not writing, working or belly dancing she organizes events and develops policy initiatives for non-profits and community groups at the local, provincial and national levels.
Allison Kydd works as an English distance instructor/tutor for Athabasca University. She has been widely published in magazines and journals over the past twenty years. Most recently she was nominated for a Saskatchewan Book Award in the First Book Category, for her novella Emily via the Greyhound Bus, published by Thistledown Press in 2012.
