Sunday, December 8 | 7:00 p.m.

Where: SWG Regina Office | Suite 100, 1150-8th Avenue

Please join us in reading by two celebrated Canadian authors, Ariel Gordon and Garry Thomas Morse, who will be presenting their most recent works!

Ariel Gordon is a Winnipeg writer. Her first book of poetry, Hump (Palimpsest Press), was published in 2010, and her second is slated for publication in 2014. Most recently, she won Kalamalka Press' inaugural John Lent Poetry-Prose Award, which resulted into the letterpress chapbook, How to Make a Collage. When not being bookish, Ariel likes tromping through the woods and taking macro photographs of mushrooms.

Garry Thomas Morse is the author of four books of poetry, including Discovery Passages, the first book of poetry about his ancestral Kwakwaka’wakw First Nation, and finalist for the 2011 Governor General’s Award and the 2012 Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize. Along with his first collection of stories Death in Vancouver, his experimental fiction series The Chaos! Quincunx includes Minor Episodes / Major Ruckus and Rogue Cells / Carbon Harbour, all available from Talonbooks. Morse is a recent arrival in Saskatchewan and now does his literary haunting in Regina.
