Finding the Formula: A Fiction Workshop with Sandra Birdsell
When: Saturday Sept. 21 | 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Where: SWG Office | 1150-8th Avenue, Regina, SK
Fees: $45 for SWG members; $55 for non-members
An informal get-together for fiction writers seeking feedback on a project. All writing is on the table and open for discussion. What works and why? Why is something less effective? What’s in my notebook and how should I use it? Topics for discussions will come directly from the work submitted. Come prepared with questions, to talk and listen, and to leave with ideas that will enrich your own work.
NOTE: Please submit 10 pages of fiction (double spaced and no fancy fonts!) upon registration. Work will be forwarded to the instructor and other participants one week in advance of the class. This workshop is limited to eight participants only, so register early.
