Mining for Memoir Workshop with Anne Campbell

Where: Ken Mitchell Library, Suite 100, 1150 - 8th Avenue, Regina

Cost: Free for SWG members; $25 for non-members

Want to write a memoir? Not sure where to start? Bring your stories and/or ideas for discussion and exercises that will help you begin, or continue your memoir. Discussions on memoir writing will include: how to get started; focus; character; missing information; research; too much information; what to leave out, and more.

Anne Campbell:

Poet, Anne Campbell, was one of the 2004 founding members of the (Canadian) Creative Nonfiction Collective. As a U of R Research Fellow, she co-edited the multi-award winning Regina’s Secret Spaces, and the upcoming 100 year history of the Regina Public Library. Currently she continues a biographical memoir of visual artist, Arthur McKay. She believes poetry is non-fiction.
