Write Tight and Other Good Writing Habits:
This beginning- to mid-level writing class will teach you practical writing skills that can make your writing better and more enjoyable for both you and your readers. I’ll show you how to wrestle down those unruly compound sentences, take some of the purple out of your prose, and deal with that horrifying first sentence on a blank page. We’ll talk about essential research techniques essential, discuss internet resources and pitfalls, and look at note taking techniques that make life easier. We'll also discuss tips and tricks for stretching your brain, and getting what you see in your mind onto paper. A fun, energizing and informative day for writers in any genre!
