Performance Workshop with Shayna Stock
When: May 11 | 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Where: SWG Regina Office | Suite 100, 1150-8th Avenue
Fees: $45 for SWG members; $55 for non-members
In an interactive and supportive group environment, we’ll explore various aspects of performance poetry — including rhythm, volume, intonation, body language, and emotion. Through a variety of playful exercises you’ll learn how to navigate those nasty nerves and trust in your words in order to become more grounded and vibrant on stage. All skill levels are welcome. Participants should come with a piece of writing with which to work.
