Spring is a bi-annual SWG publication of new work from emerging Saskatchewan writers. The purpose of Spring is to showcase and encourage the work of new writers who have not yet published in book-length form and who have not yet entered into a contract with a book publisher. Over one hundred writers have had their works of poetry, fiction and creative non-fiction featured in the past seven volumes of Spring. Many of these writers became award recipients and prominent writers of Saskatchewan’s literary scene. Spring is provided free to all members of the Saskatchewan Writers' Guild and available for purchase for $10.
