"Healing Through Writing” Workshops
When: Thursday, June 28, 2012; 6:30pm - 9:30pm
Where: SWG Regina Office & Saskatoon’s First Nations University of Canada
The Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild will be hosting a “Healing through Writing” Workshop on Thursday, June 28, 2012, from 6:30pm — 9:30pm. This is a special workshop, dedicated to Residential School Survivors in honour of National Aboriginal History Month. The workshop leader for Saskatoon’s event will be Louise Halfe and the Regina workshop leader will be Dr. Jesse Archibald Barber. The cost is FREE, with a maximum number of 15 participants per location. The workshop is being offered in both Regina (SWG Regina Office Suite 100 - 1150 8th Avenue) and Saskatoon (in partnership with the First Nations University of Canada, 226-230 20th Street East, Saskatoon). The workshop will be offered again in the Fall 2012 for other SWG members and non-members.
