A Free Creative Writing Workshop for New Canadians

Do you have a story to tell?
This workshop is an opportunity for newcomers to Canada to share their stories and experiences through the art of creative writing. This workshop is for those interested in writing memoir pieces or anyone with a story to tell. Stories will be gathered for an anthology. Writers of all abilities are welcome. Basic English skills are necessary.
Marion Mutala has a master's degree in educational administration and taught for 30 years. Marion has published a variety of poems and articles and has written a national, best-selling trilogy: Baba’s Babushka: A Magical Ukrainian Christmas, Baba’s Babushka: A Magical Ukrainian Easter, and Baba’s Babushka: A Magical Ukrainian Wedding which was nominated for a High Plains Best Children’s Book Award 2014. Her newest book Grateful will be launched, October 6, 2014 at McNally Robinson in Saskatoon, SK.
