In conjunction with New Dance Horizons, the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild invites you to join Tim Lilburn for an evening of poetic conversation. Meet and greet Tim Lilburn and help create a conversation about writing and poetry. Bring a poem and your thoughts about your poetry project or writing! Everyone welcome!

The Blue Salon is held in concurrence with New Dance Horizons Blueprint Series “Blue Text: The Language of Dance.” This event on Sunday, March 25 at 1:30 pm will feature a reading by Tim Lilburn from his new book Assiniboia. The free reading kicks off the Blueprint Series interpretative dance based on Lilburn’s book.
About the author:
TIM LILBURN is the author of eight previous books of poetry, including Moosewood Sandhills, To the River, Kill-site, and Orphic Politics. His work has received the Governor General’s Award and the Saskatchewan Book of the Year Award, among other prizes. Lilburn is also the author of two essay collections, Living in the World As If It Were Home and Going Home, and the editor of two influential collections on poetics. He lives in Victoria, where he teaches at the University of Victoria.
