| | | Bio | - I was born in Santiago, Chile, a slender country compressed by ocean and mountains. Thirty six years ago I came to live in Saskatchewan.
The architecture of my life was conventional: practicing physician, children, enjoying relatives and friends. Following my retirement, I felt for some time that I existed in a vacuum. What should I do with myself? Slowly I realized that âto doâ is an unfinished question. The important one was to determine if forty eight years in my profession were a part of my life or my whole life. The answer was only a part of it. A new approach with different thoughts and proposals began to take shape.
Since that time I have been writing poems with different depth and images. In them, I feel the thrill of that exceptional morning that I captured in my poem âOde to all mornings.â
My first book of poetry âLove and Solitudeâ represents a renewed passion for life celebrated through poems of love and remembrance. I hope this book brings as much pleasure in reading as it gave me creating it.
