prairiepi@sasktel.net | | | Bio | - Laurie, the author and illustrator of the Prairie P.I.s' children mystery series, is a popular and experienced presenter. She has read her books at over 100 schools and libraries across the province. She is available for readings, workshops, conferences, consulting and freelance work. Some of her special projects include writing a nationally recognized campaign/public service announcement for t.v. and radio, writing an activity book for Literacy for Life and judging the Saskatoon Public Library's senior creative writing contest.
Laurie is an instructional designer with a B.Ed. and an M.Ed. in educational technology and communications. She currently works at SIAST, Learning Technologies, designing online courses.
