Bio

  • Linda Hutsell-Manning’s writing career spans twenty-eight years and includes poetry, plays, TV, short fiction and novels. She has taught in a one room school; worked as a free-lance journalist and creative writing teacher; hosted author readings and promoted her work internationally. She has a B.A. from the University of Guelph and began writing full time in 1981. She has twelve published books and plays as well as a number of short stories and poems in literary magazines such as Quarry, Lichen, Seeds Poetry Anthology, Prairie Journal and Freefall. Her novel, That Summer in Franklin will be published by Second Story Press, Toronto in 2011.
