Bio

  • Chad Boudreau has experience in journalism and other non-fiction writing, but his current passion is short fiction and graphic novels.

    In 2005 he started to take his writing seriously. He wrote a 98-page graphic novel (Psychosis), hired an art team, managed its production and self-published it in the winter of 2007. There was no turning back after that.

    Song's End (2011)
    This 6-page historical fiction comic appeared in the December 2011 edition of IF-X.

    The Grim Collection (2011 - ?)
    Launched in August 2011, The Grim Collection is a Web site featuring comics and short fiction created by Chad. The genre is horror. The Grim Collection currently contains:
    - Cutter's Reward; drawn by S.T. Smith.
    - Dark Art; drawn by Adam Sward.
    - The Draw of Memories, short fiction.

    Colonel (2010)
    Sci-fi graphic novel created by Manoel Magalhaes and Osmarco Valladao; edited by Chad. Currently being shopped around to publishers.

    Black Salt (2009 - 2011)
    Black Salt #1 - #6; comics miniseries created by Owen Ratliff, written by Chad, drawn by J.C. Grande; published by Ratti Entertainment.

    Synchronicity (2010 - 2011)
    Created by Manoel Magalhaes, Osmarco Valladao and Chad. Sci-fi graphic novel; currently being shopped around to publishers.

    Acts of Violence (2009)
    An anthology of crime comics created by Ed Brisson, Dino Caruso, Kevin Leeson, Todd Ireland, and Chad. Chad's comic "The Three Princes" was drawn by Manoel Magalhaes.

    Friday, 3AM (2009)
    This short fiction appeared in A Thousand Faces #9, an anthology of supehero fiction.

    Psychosis (2007)
    Chad's first graphic novel; self-published; drawn by Lou Manna and lettered by Kel Nuttal.
