Literacy Through Stories, Poems and Songs
* folktales, fairytales, literary and original stories.
* stories about the things that move me....connection, self esteem, fair play, bullying, choices, relationships, nature and of course, the ridiculous.
* Cantefables ( stories told with Music ), songs to sing and instruments to explore.
* programs vary according to the age range and interests of the students.
I especially enjoy telling funny stories (I like to laugh), adventure tales (I like to travel) and gross stories (I have a strong stomach).
"Bonnie kept us laughing for over 40 minutes. She knows how to laugh at herself, and tells wonderful stories about her family. These stories are deeply rooted in what we know about thus beautiful province of ours, our families and relationships. She is an absolute blast!"
Kathie Cram, Community Development, Public Health Services, Saskatoon
"Bonnie Logan's rib tickling stories, dead pan delivery and wild and crazy banjo playing had the kids and parents laughing out loud and clapping and tapping to the beat. A great afternoon of fun!"
Mary Saso, Children's Librarian, Moose Jaw Public Library
"You made today exciting for me. Thanks."
Grade 4 student, John Knox School, Woodstock, ON.
"Experiencing a story told by Bonnie Logan is a first class Canadian experience. Bonnie is a shining star. Her formidable talent and skill play second "banjo" only to her incredible warmth and sparkling personality. I love Bonnie's worlds."
