Bio

  • I began writing fiction for young readers while working as a teacher and teacher-librarian in elementary schools. Now retired, I work full time as a writer.
    My books Pelly and Waiting for Pelly take place in contemporary Saskatoon. The Mackenzie Davis Files happen in the year 1912.
    My latest title is the third in the historical series. Danger in Dead Man's Mine was released in the fall of 2009.
