Sally Meadows

  • Sally Meadows is a two-time national award nominated singer/songwriter, author, educator, and speaker who lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Her children's picture book "The Two Trees" releases April 2015. Sally is a contributor to the #1 bestselling book "Chicken Soup for the Soul: Christmas in Canada" (2014) as well as the internationally published "Organized Obstacles: An Underdog Anthology" (2014). Sally has released two CDs, Red & White (2013) and "Turn the Page" (2012), both of which contain songs that were shortlisted for The Word Awards, Canada's largest and most prestigious awards for those writing from a Christian perspective. Sally has written freelance articles for local, regional, provincial, national, corporate, and specialty newspapers and newsletters, and she has also had a career as a scientific/technical editor and writer. She has conducted or facilitated writing and other workshops for gifted students. Sally writes in a range of topics reflecting her diverse interests, from inspirational pieces to parenting a special needs child to Aboriginal education to crafts kid's science activities to her experiences as a visible minority in the male-dominated fields of engineering and science. Sally has three professional university degrees (BSc, MSc, and BEd) and has won a number of academic awards.
