The National Magazine Awards Foundation (NMAF) announced the 33rd annual National Magazine Awards nominations at a reception in Montreal on May 4, 2010. Grain Magazine earned two nominations in the Poetry category.

Grain wishes to congratulate Don Domanski and Warren Heiti who are the Grain finalists! Both writers' nominated work appeared in CONVERSATION, Grain’s Fall 2009 issue.

Grain Magazine, a literary quarterly, publishes engaging, eclectic, and challenging writing and art by Canadian and international writers and artists. Published by the Saskatchewan Writers’ Guild, Grain has earned national and international recognition for its distinctive content.

The Gold, Silver, and Honourable Mention awards will be announced in Toronto on June 4, at the 33rd annual National Magazine Awards gala, presented by CDS Global. Tickets for the event can be obtained from their website: http://www.magazine-awards.com.
