Teens 13-15: Poetry & Short Story Workshop

About the Instructor:
Katherine Lawrence has published two collections of poetry, both with Coteau Books; Ring Finger, Left Hand and Lying to our Mothers. An award-winning writer, Katherine has also written two chapbooks, pad¬dled the Churchill River and fished for trout from a belly boat. She is a graduate of Carleton University and has lived in Saskatoon for 27 years.
Teens 16-18: Story Writing Workshop
You’ve got an idea or a character, now what? Where do you go from there? Play, script, movie or novel—which is it? Dialogue or narrative—who cares? Be ready to live dangerously, thwarting the evil cliché and rescuing the garbled metaphor locked within. Join writer R. P. MacIntyre to get the answers.
About the Instructor:
R.P. MacIntyre is the award-winning author of The Blue Camaro, The Rink, and Feeding At Nine. Rod holds an Honours BA, English and Sociology from the University of Saskatchewan. He has motorcycled across North America with his golf clubs and blues harps. He makes his home in La Ronge.
